Mousebreaker and Nuts provide cross-platform Solution for Pepsi Max

Mousebreaker – IPC’s casual games site – and Nuts have announced a partnership with digital marketing and technology company 20:20 to support the Pepsi Max ‘Win Wild Times With Mates’ campaign.

The partnership sees the creation of a Mousebreaker flash game and Pepsi Max viral video, starring Nuts’ Rosie Jones.

The game – Pepsi Max Monster Truck Mayhem – challenges the user to navigate a bumpy course littered with big jumps, obstacles and drops without toppling their truck. Incorporating social media, the game provides users with the option to ‘like’ the Pepsi Max Facebook page in order to unlock extra content and also the functionality to share the game with their Facebook friends and post high scores. The game is available to play on www.mousebreaker.com and www.pepsi.co.uk/play

The video – created by Pepsi Max through 20:20 – stars Nuts favourite Rosie Jones, who was last week voted the Number One Nuts cover girl from more than two million votes online. Nuts also went behind the scenes on the shoot to promote the video through editorial content in this week’s issue. The video can be watched on both nuts.co.uk and pepsi.co.uk.

Rob Hunt, head of creative media for IPC Inspire Men & Music says: “We know our audience of young, thirsty men love Pepsi Max! This campaign really works as it's a great game; the video's sexy and fun and we can really bring it to life editorially, through ads and via cross-media promotions. The 20:20 team and the client really understood what makes our audience tick!”

Leandre Pickford, account director for 20:20 says: “We were really impressed with IPC's Creative Media team. The Mousebreaker game is really addictive and Pepsi Max’s current experiences campaign has been successfully integrated into it. The editorial and sponsorship teams worked seamlessly together to deliver a winning idea. We decided to amplify the campaign with a viral video starring Nuts very own Rosie Jones and we're now seeding that across the magazine and nuts.co.uk.”
