New Associate Editor (Digital) at Q

Bauer’s music monthly Q has appointed Paul Stokes to the new role of Associate Editor (Digital).

Paul has been tasked with running Q's website qthemusic.com, as well as managing and leading both the development and the implementation of Q's digital strategy as a whole across all available platforms.

He will report into Paul Rees, Q's Editor-In-Chief, who said: "Paul's extensive editorial and digital experience, and his in-depth knowledge of all things Q, make him the perfect fit to oversee the exciting digital developments we have planned for Q in this, its 25th anniversary year."

Paul began writing for Q in 2001 and quickly established a reputation for his passionate championing of new music. He joined the NME in 2005 - initially as Deputy News Editor, before rising to Associate Editor where he has helped to establish and broadcasted on NME's online and digital radio station, and transformed the title's online news service into a world leader. Most recently he has managed all of the NME's digital video content.

Paul joins Q on Monday, 20 June.

Last month, Bauer Media unveiled a brand new, in-depth piece of music consumer research - Phoenix IV - their proprietary music study on the changing face of music consumption which has become widely recognised, claims Bauer, as a unique and expert body of insight into the behaviours and inspirations of music consumers.
