New ownership for Burlington

Burlington Media Group, a B2B legal publisher, has completed a change in management and ownership.

New ownership for Burlington

Two of the current directors, Sarah Cox and Rupert Collins-White, will be taking a co-CEO role and majority ownership.

The change in ownership represents a new era for Burlington Media as it continues to transition to a digital and data-led future. According to the company, the new owners are both well-known and veterans of the industry – Sarah has been with the business for 11 years and Rupert for 10 years – and have led revenue generation and content production and strategy throughout that time.

David Sparkes stepped down as CEO and director on 30 June, and is fully supporting Sarah and Rupert in the transition. With an eye on pivoting the business to adapt to the changes every firm is facing in 2020, this was an opportunity to restructure the company for the future, says Burlington Media.

Burlington Media Group was founded by David Sparkes in 2006 as Legal Support Network Ltd. It is known for its long-established community, LSN, which continues to provide a broad spectrum of operational professionals in law firms with a community hub online and access to peer-to-peer networking events.
