New senior appointments at MVP

Morris Visitor Publications (MVP) has recruited two senior sales executives to join its team as part of a wider restructure.

Gemma Ryder is the company’s new Sales Director (Consumer). Gemma previously worked at Associated Newspapers as the Head of Trading, across Evening Standard, ES Magazine and London Lite. Gemma will work on the company’s luxury portfolio that targets high-spending overseas and domestic visitors coming to the capital to shop.

Donna Price joins as MVP’s Partnerships Director. Donna has held senior sales roles at CBS Outdoor, Superbrands, Mirror Group Newspapers and EMAP. She will work with Andrew Turner, MVP’s Publisher & Head of Creative Solutions, on an expanding set of projects, which in 2014 have included work for Selfridges and MasterCard. The company also recently secured the contract to produce UKInbound’s Annual Members’ Directory and its upcoming World Travel Magazine.

Rob Way has also been promoted to the role of Sales Director (Tourism). He will work alongside Gemma on the brands and businesses that exclusively target London’s soaring number of visitors. Rob has been with MVP for 16 years and sits on a number of trade bodies, including chairing the influential Associate Members’ Board for the UK Society of Golden Keys.

Chris Manning remains Managing Director of the London business and the wider European operation, which now includes Where editions in Paris, Berlin, Rome, Milan and Moscow.

“I’m really pleased to welcome two outstanding executives with strong track-records to our business at a time of exciting growth,” said Mark Elliott, MVP’s Publishing Director, who has been with the company for just over a year, having previously been the Managing Director of Time Out London. “Their appointments, alongside Rob Way’s new role, which will capitalize on his tremendous insight into this sector, will help all of our partner clients to grow their businesses through the booming visitor market.”
