Chris Taylor says: "Delivering a quality print product to our subscribers is a key priority for our business."

The announcement underlines a partnership that will continue for three years beyond the current contract terms, from September 2023. Newsprinters will also continue to procure newsprint on behalf of TMG.

TMG is already part of a shared primary distribution contract operated by Newsprinters, alongside News UK, the FT, and others. The new print deal also creates an opportunity to progress these distribution arrangements into the future, generating both cost efficiencies and a positive environmental impact through reduced trucks on the road, says Newsprinters.

Newsprinters Managing Director Darren Barker says: “Telegraph Media Group is a key client for Newsprinters and this is an incredibly important renewal in a competitive print market, extending both the positive working relationship and strategic partnership between our two businesses.”

Telegraph Media Group’s Chief Operating Officer Chris Taylor says: “Delivering a quality print product to our subscribers is a key priority for our business. I’m delighted that this renewal sees us continue our strong partnership with Newsprinters, supporting us to bring our award-winning journalism to readers across the UK.”
