Newsstand launch: Dance Gazette

Dance Gazette, the thrice yearly title from the Royal Academy of Dance and Cultureshock Media, makes its newsstand debut on 20 October, priced £4.95.

According to distributors COMAG Specialist: “Produced in association with the Royal Academy of Dance, one of the most influential dance education and training organisations in the world, Dance Gazette has been the voice of the institution for 80 years. Previously only available to subscribers, the title is being made available to a wider audience of dance enthusiasts for the first time.

With access to some of the biggest names around, Dance Gazette opens a window on the world of dance, capturing both the glamour of classical ballet and important issues around dance classes at all ages, including street dance.

With fascinating reports and sumptuous visuals in every edition, Dance Gazette offers an elegant and entertaining insight into all disciplines of dance and dance training for both new fans and seasoned enthusiasts.

Dance Gazette is written by some of the most respected journalists on the subject from across the globe, including contributors who work for the BBC, CNN, International Herald Tribune and many leading newspapers around the world.

Issue No.3 is the newsstand launch edition and features award-winning dancer and choreographer Akram Khan, as well as former Strictly Come Dancing judge and dance coach of stage and music video, Arlene Phillips OBE, inside talking about their careers.
