Northcliffe Media restructures recruitment ad solutions

Northcliffe Media, owner of 115 newspapers across the UK including the Leicester Mercury and Bristol Evening Post, has announced an overhaul of its recruitment advertisement offering as part of a drive to reposition local media to employers.

For a basic price of £299 per vacancy across all Northcliffe titles, advertisers can secure a significant presence both in the local paper and online. Recruiters can then choose from a selection of add-ons to create a more bespoke package should they wish.

The changes will simplify Northcliffe’s recruitment advertising structure, which was previously charged for based on the size of the ad rather than on a per vacancy basis, and places Northcliffe in a strong position within the professional recruitment market, says the company.

David Roddick (pictured), Commercial Director, Northcliffe Media said: “We are passionate about providing an innovative, creative and results led service, and this new structure offers our customers a much simpler and more cost effective way to buy it.

“We need to compete in a challenging, price-led market and we believe our new price structure will add value to recruitment campaigns and make it easier for employers to connect to our audience – on and off-line.”
