Northcliffe Media Managing director Michael Pelosi is retiring after 22 years with the company, with his place to be taken by Steve Auckland, currently managing director at Metro.
Mr Pelosi is to remain with the company until at least the end of the year, but in a different role working with A&N Media chief executive Kevin Beatty on group-wide initiatives.
Also standing down is deputy managing director Alex Leys, who is retiring after a 28-year career with the company which included several regional editorships.
Linda Grant, currently group commercial development director, will replace Mr Auckland at Metro.
All will take up their new posts after a short handover period.
