Northprint announces 2011 dates

Northprint, the national print show for the UK market, will return to Harrogate International Centre on 10-12 May 2011.

Since 1967, Northprint has been renowned as the place to network and where post-Ipex sales are made, claims the organisers.

"Northprint has always been strong on attracting a wide spread of commercial, corporate, government and inplant printers. I'm pleased to say that 2009 was the same, albeit on a slightly smaller scale" says Nicky Mason, managing director of organiser IIR Exhibitions. "The opportunity to network with suppliers and other printers is always a big attraction of Northprint which, in microcosm, reflects the strong UK print community".

Organisers IIR Exhibitions acknowledge that the 2009 event was hit by the recession, but claim to have had good feedback from both visitors and exhibitors and event director Trevor Crawford is very optimistic that the 2011 show will see substantial growth.  "We've seen a surge in interest as Northprint is such a well-respected and much-enjoyed part of the print calendar. It's the place where visitors can see and buy products which were launched at Ipex, as well as socialise with their industry peers."

"With many press manufacturers now without showrooms in the North of England and Scotland, Northprint is the place where visitors from the north can see and touch the latest kit."
