Partwork Relaunch: Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals

Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals, a weekly partwork from RBA Coleccionables, is being relaunched. Issue one, priced at 99p, goes on sale on 21 January.

According to distributors COMAG: Both informative and amazing, Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals is a comprehensive and fascinating collection exploring the geological wonders of the amazing world we live in.

Supported and endorsed by National Geographic, Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals will build into the most complete collection of rocks, minerals and gemstones available.

Aimed at families with children aged 6-13, each issue of Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals will come with a sample of precious rock, gem or mineral, gathered from around the Earth and sourced with care to provide an introduction to the world of geology - from creation to classification.

In addition to the sample itself, each issue of Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals will have a magazine full of information about the world’s beautiful and varied gemstones, with facts and photos for readers to discover how they were found, cut and used as jewels, sometimes of great value.

Minerals are very important in our everyday lives, whether in our bodies or in our televisions and computers, Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals will show readers how and why.

As well as the samples and magazine, Precious Rocks, Gems & Minerals will provide display boxes periodically so collectors can showcase their stunning collection of mineral treasures.
