Andreas Jürgensen: “The time was right to build the team to handle this new demand and opportunity.”

After back-to-back record revenue-making months in Q3 and Q4 in 2020, says Passendo, the team has expanded again with senior roles being added in International Business Development, Publishing Development and Customer Success.

CEO Andreas Jürgensen says that the recent hires are the first in many that will come this year.

“Until now, our focus has very much been on securing the European market,” Andreas says.

“But our recent expansion in the UK and the traction this has already gained, with some high profile clients and partners, meant that the time was right to build the team to handle this new demand and opportunity.”

Head of International Development Sanne Sønderskov Jensen will lead the launch of new markets in the ad exchange, bringing over 15 years of experience within digital marketing.

“In Q1 we will launch the Passendo Ad Exchange in the UK, fulfilling the strong demand we have had for our product and capabilities there,” Sanne says.

“I am really looking forward to seeing new clients there get the same returns we have offered to our European partners, with our highly engaged premium email inventory,” she says.

Additional new hires include Oliver Somers who will join the Customer Success team as the Head of Customer Growth, tasked with managing existing publisher clients to ensure they are continually optimising their workflows and maximising their revenue with the platform.

Carl Cianga will also bring new focus to the existing Publishing Development team, building similar growth and results in the DACH region. With his previous experience in B2B SaaS companies, he will enable new revenue streams for advertisers and publishers in the market where clients like Ebner Media Group and IDG Germany have already had success monetising their newsletters, says Passendo.
