The UK IT awards are the country's leading IT awards ceremony, hosted by The British Computing Society, Computing Magazine and The Chartered Institute for IT. The finalists for the category of Business Project of the Year were judged on the criteria of innovation, return on investment, quality of management and impact.
Knowledge enables magazines and newspapers to create, edit and publish content for both traditional print and new media simultaneously within the same application. PCS assembled Knowledge from the ground up – it researched, scoped, developed, and installed the platform in two of the UK’s biggest regional evening newspaper titles in just over two years, with the critical rollout taking under 12 months. The solution is built on database and business intelligence software from the technology company InterSystems.
