Polestar Sheffield onserts teabags!

Polestar Sheffield has onserted 325,000 tea bags into major national newspaper supplements.

This, the company claims, demonstrates the flexibility of its technology and the positive approach it takes when working with its customers.

Liz Earl from Taylors of Harrogate says: “We have long known that the best way to get people to convert to Yorkshire Tea is to treat them to a complimentary cuppa or two to let them experience the quality for themselves. We were thrilled to be able to find a supplier whose expertise has helped us to efficiently distribute sample packs through national newspapers.”

The project has taken a number of months and numerous trials before coming to fruition, as Polestar Sheffield Account Director Jeff White explains: “To find a suitable format that would allow the high speed onsertion of two individually wrapped tea bags during the polybagging process was quite a challenge, but one that we were confident we could overcome.”

He continues: “The Polestar Sheffield development team worked closely alongside Nick Storton, MD of Contract Packing Solutions Ltd. Together we formulated an outer perforated wrapper that is primarily used within the baking industry for wrapping bread. This enabled us to meet the high quality standards of Taylors of Harrogate whilst still allowing for mechanical feeding that guaranteed very high hit rates. We have already successfully delivered hundreds of thousands of tea bags to our client’s readers and are delighted to have been part of this project.

Polestar Sheffield is very aware that publishers and advertisers alike are looking for added value with new ideas and we at Polestar Sheffield are fully prepared to invest our time and knowledge to convert their ideas and expectations into reality.”
