Porter has announced the appointment of Charlie Miller as Executive Fashion & Jewellery Director across the brand’s bi-monthly print title and daily and weekly digital platform.

Porter appoints Charlie Miller

Starting September 3, Charlie will be working closely with the Fashion Director to build and develop the luxury creative fashion and jewellery content within Porter’s new 360° ecosystem, says the company. She will also work closely with Net-A-Porter’s publishing, advertising and marketing teams to develop and enhance relationships with new and existing brand partners.

Editor-in-Chief Lucy Yeomans says: “Charlie was the natural choice to join Porter’s fashion team at this new and exciting time following the appointment of Kay Barron as Fashion Director. Charlie’s skills and expertise are world class – she is a respected authority on fashion, has extensive and expert knowledge of the fashion and jewellery industry, and possesses the rare skills needed to operate within our game-changing publishing proposition.”

Porter Fashion Director Kay Barron says: “Having worked closely with Charlie at Grazia for several years, I am delighted to be reunited with her at Porter. Charlie’s skills, contacts and standing within the fashion and jewellery industry are unrivalled, and she will be an invaluable member of the Porter editorial team and to the wider Net-A-Porter business. I know that she will play an important part in the exciting next steps of Porter’s evolution.”

Charlie joins Porter from Grazia, where she held the role of Executive Fashion Director for 13 years, having joined the title pre-launch in 2005. Prior to that Charlie held senior PR positions at The Communications Store, Tommy Hilfiger and Selfridges.

Charlie Miller says: “I’m hugely excited and honoured to be joining Lucy and her brilliant team at Porter as Executive Fashion & Jewellery Director. I’m very much looking forward to this exciting new chapter in my career, having long been an admirer of Porter and its global vision.”
