The PPA Awards 2020, originally scheduled to take place on the evening of June 30 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, will go ahead as a virtual event.

PPA Awards to go virtual
Hannah Bray: “I look forward to us all getting together on June 30!”

Given the current situation and uncertainty around when people will be returning to work or when social gatherings will be re-established, the PPA has made the decision to run this year’s PPA Awards as a virtual event.

The PPA Awards winners will still be revealed with a bang, says the PPA, as a live show will be streamed on Tuesday, June 30 at 4.30pm.

Hannah Bray, MD, Commercial & Events, PPA, says: “These unprecedented times have called for many changes across our industry and we’ve seen huge innovation in responding to those challenges. The PPA Awards is a long-established celebration of what our industry does best, keeping the nation informed and entertained, with the very best creativity and ingenuity. It is right that even in these challenging times, we come together to celebrate excellence and congratulate our worthy winners.”

“Of course, this would not be possible without all our event supporters, a huge thanks to them all for helping make this happen. Thank you to all of you for submitting such high standards of entries. And thanks to our illustrious judges for taking so much time and care in the judging process. I look forward to us all getting together on June 30!”

The shortlist will be released on the PPA Awards website on Monday, May 18, along with a free sign up link for access to the virtual awards.
