Jo Checkley: “I am absolutely delighted that we’re producing more of Prima in 2021.”

Prima remains one of the most popular and well read magazines in the UK, with a monthly circulation figure of 218,944, says Hearst.

According to the publishers, it has performed extremely well both on the newsstand and with subscribers, with new subscriber acquisitions this year increasing by 68%.

Prima launched in 1986 and is, says Hearst, “a much loved source of fun, fashion, arts and crafts and more for its extremely loyal audience”.

Jo Checkley, Editor, Prima says: “I am absolutely delighted that we’re producing more of Prima in 2021. We are so lucky to have such a fantastic and loyal readership and this is our opportunity to provide them with an extra issue that’s packed full of the content they love.”

Gaby Huddart, Group Editorial Director Lifestyle, Hearst UK says: “This decision is a direct result of the fantastic work that our Lifestyle editorial teams produce every day. Hearst UK is leading the market when it comes to creating outstanding lifestyle content, and I’m so thrilled we’re able to demonstrate our success by adding an extra issue next year for our highly valued Prima readers.”
