ProImage announces major enhancements

New ProImage, a leading developer of workflow, image processing and ink optimization solutions, has announced NewsWay 2012.

This latest version of its workflow automation and production control software supports Windows 2008 64 bit and Windows 7.  

It also incorporates a number of valuable new features. These include the capability to highlight version changes to the same page, the optimization of plate sorting, and a tool to enable customers to upload files directly into their print edition.

The advanced user interface enables users to define and control the plate sorting device. NewsWay 2012 will manage plate production priorities and when interfaced with press control systems it saves time and potential error by automating production priorities and optimizing plate sorting.

NewsWay 2012 also includes a valuable upload portal that enables printers to provide their customers with a tool to upload files directly into the planned edition, thus reducing production time.

The new version also provides image analysis that enables changes between versions of the same page to be highlighted, potential overprint problems to be caught, and last minutes changes to be quickly verified prior to plate making.
