This follows the company’s acquisition by Vice Media Group.

Jacqueline Kavanagh, formerly SVP Revenue, has been announced as Refinery29’s SVP, Head of International, taking the reins on the company outside of North America. She will be based in London and report to Amy Emmerich, Global President & Chief Content Officer at Refinery29.

In her new position, Kavanagh will be responsible for leading Refinery29’s digital business internationally, with overall responsibility for driving the reach, revenue and relevance of the brand, expanding the business to new geographies and developing existing offices.

The international operation, headquartered out of London and overseeing English, German and French language editions of Refinery29, was established by Kate Ward in 2015. It was recently announced that Ward would be joining Vice Studios as President.

Jacqueline previously held senior roles at Conde Nast and Vice Media.
