Relaunch: Good Homes

Good Homes, acquired by Media 10 in September, has been redesigned. The new look magazine goes on sale 31 October, priced £2.99.

According to distributors COMAG: Launched as BBC Good Homes in 1998 by BBC Worldwide before it was acquired by Kelsey Media in 2009, the popular home interest magazine has a devoted following.

Acquiring Good Homes in September, Media 10 promised to invest in the title to take it back to basics and restore its fortunes to those it had enjoyed in the late 1990s.

True to their word, the new owners of Good Homes have gone back to the drawing board and the new look magazine has been given a cover-to-cover redesign, complete with new size, new style and features, while retaining the same inspirational content.

Calling the magazine bigger and better than ever before, Media 10 says from the December edition, every issue of Good Homes will have at least 196 pages of enhanced editorial content, printed on quality paper stock and in a larger-size format.

Packed with seasonal shopping ideas, new season decorating colours and trends, as well as expert interior design advice, every issue of relaunched Good Homes magazine will be the go-to-guide for readers looking to redecorate, renovate or refurbish their home.

In addition to aspirational and inspirational features, Good Homes will also have a core editorial focus on real homes, including kitchen and bathroom makeovers, extension projects, along with crafts, recipes and exclusive reader competitions in every issue.

With 750 great seasonal style ideas, ten beautiful room schemes to recreate, seven simple kitchen and bathroom makeovers and four real homes with sparkle, the December issue of Good Homes promises to give readers their most magical Christmas ever.

Away from interiors, the December issue of Good Homes will have festive food for making the perfect lunch, glittery decorations, pretty wreaths, twinkly lights and more, the relaunch issue of Good Homes will have Christmas all wrapped up!
