Ruth Faulkner appointed Editor, Retail Jeweller

EMAP has appointed Ruth Faulkner as Editor of Retail Jeweller, the B2B brand for the jewellery and watch industry.

Ruth joins Retail Jeweller from Good Results PR where she is an Account Director. In that role she has led integrated PR and marketing campaigns for trade show and fashion and jewellery clients including Pure London, Jewellery & Watch (London and Birmingham), White Gallery London and Pearly King Jeans.

Ruth previously worked at EMAP from 2011-13 as a news reporter for the B2B fashion brand Drapers. She has also worked as a reporter for The Grocer, EMAP’s Material Recycling World as well as being an event executive at EMAP at the start of her career.

Ruth takes over as editor from Laura McCreddie, who is joining online magazine Eve’s Watch.

Ruth will begin her new position on 9th June and will report directly to Richard Breeden, Retail Jeweller’s Managing Director.

I have really enjoyed working with the jewellery & watch industry over the 12 months on i2i Events’ Jewellery & Watch portfolio and I look forward to building on these relationships across the industry in my new role as editor of Retail Jeweller.”
