Grant Woodthorpe becomes Executive Director - Sales and Commercial Development, with added responsibility for brand extensions and special projects. Jamie Walters becomes Executive Director of Digital, reporting to Linda and joining the Metro board. Head of Finance Phil Offord will also now report directly to Linda and take on additional finance responsibility.
John Leitch's job title changes to Executive Director Operations, to reflect his broader responsibility for Metro's production and distribution. Operations Director Stuart Wood will now report to John. John will also join Linda on the board of Irish title Metro Herald.
Assistant Managing Director and Finance Director Rich Mead is moving to Northcliffe Media, while fellow Assistant Managing Director Karen Wall is due to return from maternity leave in August.
