Martin Robinson will be stepping down after five years at the helm of ShorList, the men’s magazine.

Over the five years, he has seen the magazine nominated for countless industry awards, consistently achieve revenue goals and play a key role in the cultural life of urban, males across the UK, say the publishers.

Martin is moving on to pursue personal projects.

Martin says, “This has been just the best job. I’m really proud of the covers, the stories, the brilliant commercial partnerships and I’m delighted to be stepping away with the magazine in such a strong position. I wish the team all the best and will miss them.”

Editorial director, Phil Hilton says, “Martin has not only created an essential product for today’s man, he’s also managed brilliantly in what is a truly fast-changing world for print media. He’s been a pleasure to work with from first to last.”

CEO Mike Soutar says, “ShortList is, for many, the men’s magazine market. Martin has been a key figure in developing this part of our business. He is a talented editor who will do well in whatever he has lined up next.”

The company hopes to make an announcement on Martin’s successor shortly.
