Shortlist hires Regional Sales Director

Shortlist Media yesterday announced the appointment of Seb Randle to the newly created role of regional sales director across all its brands, including ShortList, Stylist, Emerald Street and Mr Hyde.

Shortlist hires Regional Sales Director

The appointment follows a year of investment from Shortlist in its events, digital and video offerings and the launch of its content studio, Family, in November 2016.

With an increasing number of large scale creative solutions moving through the business, says Shortlist Media, the creation of a full-time role for Randle in Manchester shows the company’s commitment to delivering high levels of service to clients and agencies outside of London.

Randle joins the company from Media-Link, where he most recently held the position of account director working across magazines, radio, cinema and digital. Seb has a wealth of experience in trading, client relationship management, and a strong understanding of the media agency landscape from a career spanning 17 years.

While at Media-Link, Seb was the face of Shortlist and Stylist outside of London. He is already familiar and comfortable with the diverse product offering having delivered partnerships in 2017 that included two successful video-led campaigns; Remmington’s Beard University with ShortList and Figleaves Dissect My Date with Stylist.

Owen Wyatt, Managing Director, Commercial at Shortlist Media said: “Hiring Seb was one of the easy decisions I have made since joining the business. As we’ve grown in video and events Seb was quick to embrace the investment in our business and the changes we made and delivered some partnerships that are now part of our credentials in those areas. Working with him in Manchester it was clear that he also possesses the key trait of any brilliant salesperson - he is impossible not to like!”

Seb Randle, Regional Sales Director at Shortlist Media said: “Shortlist Media is a dynamic and exciting publisher, housing some exceptional brands that have a vital role to play in the lives of young, professional adults. With continued investment into video, programmatic and award-winning events such as Stylist Live, alongside an unrivalled commitment to creating high quality branded content for brands, I am delighted to be able to work even more closely with our valued clients and agencies outside of London.”

Seb’s start date is Thursday 1st March.
