Sports Site unveils new design

www.sportsvibe.co.uk, the sports entertainment website, has unveiled a new, more interactive design, that makes existing content and a raft of new site features more easily accessible and engaging to site visitors and members.

Sportsvibe is renowned for its exclusive video interviews with top stars of sports and entertainment from the UK and around the world including Wladimir Klitschko; Usain Bolt; Lewis Moody; Jermain Defoe; Jessica Ennis; Tony Hawk, Jonathan Ross, Dougray Scott and many more. The new design has been created by London brand agency, Brandnation, and its edgy interface perfectly showcases the entertaining mix of sports articles, video, news, debate, insider gossip, insight and competitions that comprises Sportsvibe. Brandnation has also enabled the site to fully interact with the main social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

Sportsvibe’s editorial team, headed by celebrated sports writer and journalist Ian Stafford, has also been expanded to include heavyweight writers from around the world. These include Mario Diaz Camacho, former editor of El Mundo (Sportsvibe Spain) and Chip Thompson, CNN and Sports Illustrated (Sportsvibe USA).

Sportsvibe originally started as a sports ‘insiders’ blog in 2009, covering all the major sports but also championing ‘niche’ sports, extreme sports and disability sports. However the success and originality of its cutting-edge content and the demand it generated meant it was expanded to a full website format in February 2010. The site now claims to attract over 1,700,000 unique visitors a month, has 30,000 members and recently celebrated its millionth video upload on YouTube.
