Stylist launches on Readly

Stylist magazine has launched on the Readly platform this week, to coincide with the magazine's 500th issue.

Stylist launches on Readly
Damien Barioz: “We are delighted to have launched on the Readly platform, so everyone can get their weekly Stylist magazine fix, wherever they may be.”

This heralds, says Readly, an exciting new move for the UK title as it looks to extend its audience footprint.

Readly is one of the leading “all-you-can-read” service providers for digital magazines in Europe.

Damien Barioz, Chief Financial Officer at The Stylist Group said: “Over the last 10 years Stylist has become the iconic, go-to brand for urban women. Stylist distributes over 400k printed magazines every week, distributed by hand in 6 major cities and is available for pick-up in around 850 locations nationwide. But not all of our growing legion of fans (2.5 million website users, 1.5 million social media followers) can easily get their hands on a physical copy of the magazine every week.

“To coincide with our 500th issue, we are rolling out Stylist in a digital-edition format, and are delighted to have launched on the Readly platform, so everyone can get their weekly Stylist magazine fix, wherever they may be.”

Stylist’s current issues as well as its latest back issues will also be available on the platform going forward.

Ranj Begley, UK Managing Director and Chief Content Officer at Readly said: “Stylist is a hugely popular and trusted magazine brand in the women’s lifestyle market. From raising the voices of women everywhere and taking a lead on culturally relevant issues, it echoes what their readers are interested in. Its addition onto Readly adds more depth and value to our inventory of almost 5,000 national and international magazines.

“Readly offers the ideal platform for Stylist as our subscribers use our app in the same way as Stylist readers use the magazine - a mix of snacking and longer deeper reads for ‘time poor, thought rich women’.”

Stylist is on a journey of digital transformation and a broadening of its content delivery platforms and revenue streams – which already includes live events, retail and etail, social media and membership activities such as the Stylist Beauty Council tribe of micro influencers.

Begley continues: “As Stylist continues to expand its content delivery and revenue streams – we’ve thrilled to be part of a publisher’s multi-channel strategy.”

Stylist joins other women’s titles on Readly, including: Vogue, Grazia, Harper's Bazaar, Tatler, Elle, Red, Women’s Health, OK!, and Hello.
