Telegraph appoints new Head of Motoring

Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has announced the appointment of Steve Huntingford to the position of Head of Motoring.

Steve will manage the Motoring editorial team and lead the development of TMG's motoring coverage across its print and digital platforms.

He takes up the position having recently overseen the creation of all content for TMG's new digital channel, Telegraph Cars, which is dedicated to providing car buyers with useful and trustworthy advice.

Before joining The Telegraph, Steve was Road Test Editor at consumer title What Car?.

Steve Huntingford, Head of Motoring, TMG, said: "The Telegraph has long been committed to helping car buyers and covering all things automotive, so it's a great honour to be asked to shape its future motoring content."

Steve's appointment comes as part of a general restructuring of TMG's Motoring team.

Paul Hudson becomes Deputy Head of Motoring, with responsibility for the quality of all published material, both online and in print.

Chris Knapman takes on a new role as Contributing Editor, with the task of expanding Telegraph Motoring's new car coverage and developing its future video strategy.
