Telegraph Media Group announces changes to its digital sales team

Telegraph Media Group has announced the promotion of Chris Ricketts to Sales Director, Digital, as well as the recruitment of Mike Buckley as Digital Commercial Director.

Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has announced the promotion of Chris Ricketts to Sales Director, Digital, as well as the recruitment of Mike Buckley, who will join TMG from Microsoft, as Digital Commercial Director.

Ricketts, formerly Head of Multi Media at TMG, and Buckley, previously Head of Agency Sales at Microsoft, will both report into Jim Freeman, Group Sales & Trading Director.

Jim Freeman said: “This is an exciting time for The Telegraph as we continue to evolve our content business into new digital areas. We have a clear strategy for new products, innovation and creativity and will continue to offer a valuable and expanding audience - these appointments mark the next step in our commercial offering and put our customers and relationships at the heart of our digital opportunities.”

Mike Buckley said: “After six wonderful years at Microsoft, I am looking forward to a new challenge at one of the most iconic and progressive UK news brands. The chance to be involved in the digital future of TMG is a great opportunity and I can't wait to get started.”

Buckley will join TMG in September.
