The Week Junior launches Quizzler

Quizzler, a summer special from The Week Junior designed to stretch curious young minds, went on sale this week.

Anna Bassi: “Quizzler is the ideal way to keep children happily occupied this summer.”

Quizzler is a new, 100-page magazine that is, says Dennis Publishing, “packed with brain-bending puzzles, fascinating facts and a mind-stretching mega quiz, that has been created to keep boredom at bay for eight- to 14-year-olds”.

The magazine includes a variety of word, number, picture and logic puzzles along with a 200-question quiz on subjects including animals, science, sport, books and entertainment.

The magazine has been put together by the team behind The Week Junior. The launch of Quizzler came in response to consumer demand for more interactive content, say the publishers.

Editor-in-chief of The Week Junior, Anna Bassi, said, “Our readers love doing puzzles, and with the long school holidays about to begin, we think that Quizzler is the ideal way to keep children happily occupied this summer. Whether they are lounging on a beach, passing a rainy day or travelling to distant destinations, all they’ll need is their Quizzler and a bit of brainpower!”

Quizzler is the latest print title in The Week Junior portfolio, following the launch of Science+Nature in September 2018. It will be on sale in selected WHSmiths stores, independent newsagents, selected retail multiples and online.

The magazine went on sale on 9 July, priced £4.95. Quizzler comes with a pull-out puzzle poster, a branded eraser-topped pencil and a chance to win a bicycle, says Dennis Publishing.
