Third Sector launches Fundraising Week

Third Sector has launched its first ever Fundraising Week, which will bring together previous Third Sector conferences under the theme of fundraising.

Fundraising Week (13-17th April) will bring innovative ideas and fresh thinking to delegates, in a series of conferences, workshops and interactive sessions, says Haymarket.

The week kicks off with fundraising workshops, which offer attendees tips on how to develop a successful and lasting major donor relationship that incorporates legacy and in-memory.

The Big Donor Summit explores how charities can build strong, lucrative relationships with businesses, high-net worth individuals, major donors, trust and foundations. Delegates will get the opportunity to meet 50 corporate and major donors including ex-Dragon Richard Farleigh and representatives of Virgin, IBM, Heineken and AstraZeneca.

Third Sector Jobs will also be hosting a breakfast briefing focused on helping delegates propel their career as a corporate fundraiser.

Inspired by over 50 hours of research with the Third Sector audience, says Haymarket, this year’s Digital Edge session will provide one day of practical advice, top-tier knowledge and best-practice case studies from small, medium and large-sized charities that are leading the way in the digital space at the moment.

Donna Murphy, Publishing Director, HBM, said the whole team were “excited about helping Third Sector's fundraising audience solve their professional challenges and develop their careers at the same time”.

“The idea behind Fundraising Week is to bring together fundraising professionals with their peers, donors, and corporate partners to take part in a week of innovation and fresh thinking that focuses on new strategic ideas while celebrating the great work that takes place every day in fundraising departments.

“We believe it's an incredibly valuable event for fundraising teams, and a great way for Third Sector to deepen its engagement with this important audience.”
