Timeout.com is top for Entertainment and Nightlife

Timeout.com has been named the Number 1 website for entertainment and nightlife by Hitwise, Experian (the traffic intelligence tool).

The Hitwise Number 1 Award recognises websites from over 150 sectors that are leaders in their industry, monitoring over 8 million UK internet users. These prestigious accolades are awarded based on Hitwise’s analysis of market share of visits among all United Kingdom websites.

Timeout.com was awarded the number one spot for entertainment and nightlife and also made the top ten for travel destination & accommodation websites.

August 2011 saw an incredible month in terms of page views for Time Out’s London website with a 39% year-on-year increase in unique users and a 22% increase in page views. In real terms this means that timeout.com saw 2.9m unique users and 15.6m page views.
