Trinity Mirror mobile sites launch on O2 network

Trinity Mirror's portfolio of 13 mobile sites have now been launched across the entire O2 mobile network.

The partnership means that the two national and 11 regional mobile sites will now be available to be viewed by some additional 20 million subscribers to the O2 network, which has more customers than any other UK mobile network.

Rick Gleave (pictured), Trinity Mirror Head of Interactive and Mobile, said: "We're delighted to be partnering with O2 to bring our mobile sites to more people than ever before, and more than any other UK mobile network.

"The recent AOP annual census showed that mobile is seen as the most important area for publishers over the next year and our launch onto the O2 network is further proof that the Trinity Mirror brands are leading the way in this field.

"This partnership gives us the opportunity to connect with millions of people who might not ordinarily have come across our mobile brands so we're actively reaching out and building an engaged audience."

Trinity Mirror is also in talks to launch on the Tesco mobile network in the coming months.
