Walk magazine partners with WW

The October 2019 issue of WW (Weight Watchers) magazine will be bagged with a free copy of Walk magazine.

Walk magazine partners with WW

Walk is the quarterly members’ magazine published on behalf of the Ramblers Association. This special-edition anniversary issue includes eight walks across the UK, supplemented by gear tests, international features and competitions.

There is a real synergy between these two products, say the publishers, following NHS advice that ‘walking is simple, free and one of the easiest ways to get more active, lose weight and become healthier’. Ramblers walking groups are NHS recognised and could be easily paired with the WW 'Easy Walking Plan' to help encourage new opportunities for exercise and help in every reader’s health and wellbeing journey.

The October issue of WW serves up “quick and easy solutions to getting back into a routine at home – after the free and easy summer holidays”. It also introduces WW’s new celebrity ambassador, TV presenter Alison Hammond.

Priced at £2.99, the WW/Walk value packs provide 55% off the combined combined cover price of the two titles. The packs go on sale on 5 September 2019 and are available at Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and WHSmith High Street and Travel stores.

Both titles are published by The River Group.
