The Directors’ Cut presented by Tudor Watches is free to download from the iPad Store and builds on the October issue of Wallpaper*, which Lynch and Wilson guest edited.
The app provides users with the chance to view a new and exclusive short film by David Lynch, as well as a selection of Robert Wilson’s startling and beautiful film portraits of Brad Pitt, Willem Dafoe, Dita von Teese and Wallpaper* cover star Isabella Rossellini.
As part of Tudor’s support for the Wallpaper* iPad app, it has created two of the films that are featured, as well as a pre-roll that runs before the first film viewers select.
Wallpaper* editor-in-chief Tony Chambers says: “Our first iPad app enables users to experience the true brilliance of our two guest editors. With gallery-quality content, Wallpaper* Directors’ Cut is the perfect complement to our October issue.”

According to the publishers, the iPad app launches as Wallpaper* is on a digital high, achieving a record five million page views in September on www.wallpaper.com and reaching more than 211,000 followers on Twitter. In addition, Wallpaper’s iPhone app has built almost 110,000 users since its launch in April.
