WoodWing appoints CTO
Amanda van der Leest-Rasch: “At this moment, there are a number of huge shifts underway in the market.”

As well as building out the core solutions of WoodWing Studio and WoodWing Assets, van der Leest-Rasch will focus on growing the software development team, looking at potential acquisitions to complement WoodWing’s content orchestration positioning, and enhancing its cloud-based solutions.

Prior to joining WoodWing, Van der Leest-Rasch was Senior Director for R&D in the Netherlands at ADP. Here she was responsible for DevOps introduction and set-up, and led over a hundred R&D staff in the Netherlands and India. Before that, she was Area Vice President for the Netherlands at CompuGroup Medical, where she was responsible for the Dutch healthcare market.

Globally, says WoodWing, the demand for content has never been greater, and with this rising demand comes increasing complexity in terms of workflows, channels, and the volume of files and digital assets organizations need to manage.

“At this moment, there are a number of huge shifts underway in the market, including the trend to the cloud, the continued rise of ecommerce, and demand for an ever-growing number of channels and platforms,” said Amanda van der Leest-Rasch. “These shifts present great opportunities for WoodWing, so I am very excited to join the organization and look forward to making great strides in these areas as we move to our next phase of growth.”

“I am delighted to have Amanda join us to drive our technology offering and build out our product portfolio. Her experience will be invaluable as we invest further in technology and our development team,” said Ross Paterson, CEO, WoodWing. “More organizations are beginning to look at solving content challenges strategically with Content Orchestration – people and tools working seamlessly to plan, create, distribute and manage content. So, I’m super excited to work with Amanda and bring new innovations to our customers, which will help them achieve this goal.”
