The Your Hair ‘Style Genius: 50 DIY Styles’ app is the first in a series of interactive hair tutorials from the magazine, and allows users to browse through 50 stunning hairstyle images, handpicked by the Your Hair team. Each hairstyle is accompanied by a step-by-step guide to recreating the look at home, alongside hints and tricks, product recommendations and ‘buy it now’ buttons that will allow users to shop straight from their iPhone for the featured products.

‘50 DIY Styles’ has been designed and built in-house by Immediate Media’s Digital team using the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. It is the second app developed for the Hair portfolio, and follows the launch in January of a fully digital version of Hair Ideas magazine for the iPad and iPhone.
A preview of the app, showing 10 of the 50 styles is available as a free download, while the full collection of 50 hairstyles and step-by-step guides can be purchased for £0.69 from the Apple App store.
