AJ Odudu joins Grazia as Contributing Editor
AJ Odudu: “It’s a privilege to be part of a team who proudly champion women and promote a message of equality and empowerment.”

Best known for her presence on TV, AJ is a popular presenter for ITV’s The Voice & The Voice Kids UK. Autumn 2020 saw her co-hosting ITV’s Don’t Rock The Boat with Freddie Flintoff. Most recently AJ hosted the 2021 BRITS red-carpet and this summer sees AJ present the new ITV2 entertainment show Apocalypse Wow. AJ’s first major documentary, Manhunting With My Mum, aired to critical acclaim, cementing AJ as one of the UK’s leading broadcasters, says Grazia.

A qualified personal trainer and sports nutritionist, AJ is also a trailblazer in the lifestyle, wellness and interior design space and has fronted campaigns for brands such as Adidas, New Balance, Speedo, Smart Water, L’Oreal and more.

Born to Nigerian parents and growing up in Lancashire, AJ will use her experiences and culture to highlight issues surrounding diversity, gender and what it is like to be a black woman in 2021.

Commenting on her new role, AJ Odudu said: “I am honoured to join Grazia as a Contributing Editor. Having been a huge fan of the magazine for years, it’s a privilege to be part of a team who proudly champion women and promote a message of equality and empowerment. I am excited to embark on this new venture, starting with me sharing the ups and downs of renovating my dream home but crucially, I will be using this new role to highlight issues, causes and profiles which deserve a platform so watch this space.”

Hattie Brett, Editor, Grazia commented: “I’m delighted that AJ will be working closely with the Grazia team in her new role to create compelling content across print, digital and social. Our audience has become increasingly interested in interiors over the last year and so I know they will welcome AJ’s knowledge and passion in that area, kicking off with her first piece this issue about home renovation as a single woman. But I also look forward to seeing how AJ uses her unique voice on a range of subjects – from fitness to feminism – in the future.”

AJ’s debut piece for Grazia will appear in issues published Tuesday 1 June.
