In her new role, Kirsten will focus on further developing each of these brands.
Kirsten arrives from IPC, where she was most recently publishing director for InStyle, InStyle.co.uk and their bridal portfolio. At InStyle, she headed up a successful period of development of the brand, driving circulation and advertising revenues, delivering six consecutive circulation increases and launching Instyle.co.uk.
Kirsten's career began at NatMags, from where she joined the circulation team at IPC in 1997. Since then, Kirsten has filled the role of publishing director across a number of different magazine brands at IPC including Family Circle, Practical Parenting, 19 and Now. She was appointed Publishing Director of InStyle in 2005.
Kirsten takes over the role from Rimi Atwal who has recently stepped across to publish Bauer Media's music portfolio. She reports into Jo Morrell, MD of Bauer Media's Lifestyle Brands, who said: "Kirsten's wide range of knowledge and experience across a number of different magazine brands will prove invaluable in further developing this market-leading portfolio."
