With this launch, Bloomberg says IES’s Management College and Research Centre (IES MCRC) joins more than 1,000 academic institutions globally with Bloomberg Terminals. The Bloomberg Terminal integrates real-time and historical data, market moving news and analytics to help leading business and financial professionals worldwide make better informed investment decisions. The Bloomberg Terminal also features electronic trading for every asset class, research, and a global network to communicate securely.

The lab serves as a resource for both students and professors, continued Bloomberg. It will enable students to become familiar with tools used in financial services and prepare them for a career in finance.

Mr. Sameer Tamhane, chairman IES MCRC said: “The creation of the Bloomberg Lab is a testament to our unwavering dedication to provide our students, faculty, and the broader community with cutting-edge resources that will empower them to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to prepare the leaders of tomorrow to navigate the complexities of our ever-changing financial world”.

With the training and coursework offered by the Bloomberg Lab, we hope to advance the careers of your students, to build the next generation of financial professionals.”
