Chemical Watch appoints David Dillon

Chemical Watch, a global provider of regulatory and compliance intelligence, has expanded its data, analysis and research team with the appointment of David Dillon as a Senior Regulatory and Compliance Analyst.

After 30 years working in industry, competent bodies and consultancy, he will now serve as Chemical Watch's expert on global biocides and Brexit.

Starting on 12 May 2020, David’s main objective will be to assist companies in transforming their compliance function to drive business value by exercising industry leadership on product safety and sustainability issues. He will be responsible for overseeing and developing analytical content, tools and training courses to assist the industry in navigating through complex compliance frameworks. He will also head up internal and external CW members' working groups on these issues as well as other European regulatory issues at the EU and EU state member level.

David has joined Chemical Watch after five years as a consultant at Exponent. Prior to that, he spent 19 years working for the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE), as well as nearly seven years in industry. He has extensive experience in global legislative processes, and a wide range experience of EU biocide committees, working groups and technical workshops. He also has several years’ experience supporting EU and National Trade Association activities.

David will make his first public appearance for the Chemical Watch team at the company’s virtual biocides conference, Biocides Symposium 2020 on 26-28 May, where he will be chairperson for the event.
