CMA International Content Marketing Awards - shortlist announced

The Content Marketing Association (CMA), the industry body for the content marketing industry, has revealed its shortlist for the International Content Marketing Awards.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 3rd December at the Roundhouse in London.

The scale of the interest in the CMA's 2015 awards reflects the huge acceleration in content marketing in both the UK and internationally as marketers look to invest increasing share of marketing budgets into content marketing activity, says the CMA. Shortlists of up to 10 nominated businesses per category will fight for Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.

In total, the 2015 International Content Marketing Awards have received:

* Over 400 award entries

* From 100 agencies

* Representing work of over 200 brands and businesses

* From 21 different countries including nominations from UK, USA, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden and Israel

Clare Hill, Managing Director at the Content Marketing Association, said: "I am incredibly proud at the pace of growth of our awards. They are a true marker of the very best worldwide in content marketing by agencies for brands. The growth reflects the pace of change in marketing spend as brands increasingly look to content marketing solutions to achieve their objectives. Our awards will be a fabulous showcase of the very best in content marketing work on a global stage. The winners will achieve recognition as best-in-class in this most exciting of the marketing disciplines."

The first stage of awards was judged by over 50 judges from across the agency world, with senior-level representatives from CMA member and non CMA member agencies. The second stage will be held on November 4th with a line-up of content marketing experts forming the final judging panel.

It will features a line-up of experts, including Conny Kalcher, VP Global Marketing, LEGO, Alistair Cotterill, EMEA Creative Lead, Instagram, Ed Couchman, Head of Agency Relations, Facebook and Stephen Rosenthal, Head of Social, Google.
