Company joins Diet Coke for High Street Fashion Awards

Company magazine and Diet Coke on Monday celebrated the 12th annual Company High Street Fashion Awards 2011 at London’s exclusive Shoreditch House.

More than 250 guests, including December Company cover star and Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack, Pixie Lott, Gemma Cairney, Grace Woodward, Daisy Knight, Gizzi Erskine and Company columnist Jameela Jamil, as well as models, fashion industry insiders and the cream of the British High Street attended the star studded awards.

Recognising the influence UK street style blogs have on the fashion industry, What Katie Wore, Mademoiselle Robot and Girl a la Mode were also in attendance.

This year’s Company High Street Fashion Awards 2011 have been the biggest to date with 386,648 Company readers voting online at www.company.co.uk for their favourite places to shop.

Topshop was crowned Company’s Top of the Shops, making a huge comeback after losing out on the prize for the past four years. They finally stole the fashion crown from online favourite ASOS who were also beaten by Topshop in the Best Place To Spend £150 category.

Pixie Lott collected her award for Best Collaboration with Lipsy wearing one of her own creations.

River Island also won two categories (Best Bags and Best Jeans Under £100) for the second year running. Accessorize, New Look and H&M also successfully kept their awards for another year.

• Best Place to spend £50...H&M (winner 2 years running)

• Best Place to spend £150...Topshop (new winner)

• Best place to spend £250...Selfridges (new winner)

• Best bags, in association with Diet Coke...River Island (winner 2 years running)

• The Company Award (chosen by the Company Fashion Team)... Boutique by Jaeger (new winner)

• Best Footwear under £50...New Look (winner 2 years running)

• Best Footwear under £150...Schuh (new winner)

• Best Collaboration...Pixie Lott for Lipsy (new winner)

• Best plus size...Evans (winner 2 years running)

• Best Jeans Under £100...River Island (winner 2 years running)

• Best Jeans Over £100...Calvin Klein (new winner)

• Best Online Shopping...ASOS (winner 2 years running)

• Best Place to shop on the High Street...Topshop (new winner)
