Covering 20 years with 20 covers

Dazed & Confused celebrates twenty years with 20 separate covers.

According to distributors COMAG Specialist: “One of the leading and most important voices for creative culture in the country, Dazed & Confused is internationally recognised as being able to identify cutting edge cultural trends through its editorial, design and visual identity.

With world exclusive interviews, groundbreaking fashion editorial and award-winning themed issues in fashion, music, art and film, Dazed & Confused looks at the subjects that are important in contemporary culture, with authenticity and independence.

Launched in 1991, Dazed & Confused is celebrating its 20th anniversary this autumn and winter by looking back at this milestone with a series of four collectable issues. Each of which is featuring some of the best articles from the past, as well as covering all that is currently hot and stylish in the world of modern culture.

The last of the issues commemorating the 20th anniversary season will be December, which will have 20 separate covers, each featuring a former Dazed & Confused cover star shot once again by co-founder and renowned photographer, Rankin.

With cultural icons and long-time collaborators supermodel Kate Moss, artist Damien Hirst and actress Tilda Swinton amongst others, each gracing a front cover as well as nominating a new talent or star of the future for the back cover. An epic undertaking, the ‘20 Covers Project’ illustrates Dazed & Confused’s ambitions for the next 20 years.

As well as this, the December issue has an exclusive preview of Dazed & Confused: Making It Up As We Go Along, a book which looks back at 20 years of the title with interviews, photo shoots and commentary from founders, Rankin and Jefferson Huck.”
