Crop Production Magazine appoints Janine Adamson

Kelsey Publishing has announced the appointment of Janine Adamson as deputy editor and digital development manager of Crop Production Magazine.

Speaking of the new appointment, Lucy de la Pasture, editor of Crop Production Magazine (CPM) commented: “I’m really pleased to be welcoming Janine into the editorial team. She has that very rare combination of good technical knowledge together with the ability to be able to communicate exceptionally well across all media.

“As the industry adapts to the many challenges it faces, the scope of CPM has broadened to cover the many routes to a more sustainable future. The perspective Janine has gained during her time at CHAP and previously within the supply industry, will be invaluable in making sure we continue to deliver valuable insights to our readers.”

Speaking on her new appointment, Janine added: “Making crop science and technical information accessible is something that I’m extremely passionate about, both within our industry and beyond. I’m fully committed to sharing the positive narratives that the arable sector has to offer, helping to shift perspectives around British agriculture and sustainable food production. I believe CPM has a pivotal role to play, and I’m truly excited to be a part of that movement.”

CPM says it remains one of the UK’s best-read arable technical journals, reaching around 9000 arable farmers and farm managers, in addition to c.1400 agronomists via its print and digital channels.

Janine will take up her position on the 1 March 2023.
