Gold Key Media receives ABC accreditation for digital platform

Gold Key Media’s Digital Entertainment Platform is digital reader service for clients such as hotels, airlines, cruise ships, transport companies and hospitals, enabling readers to access a wide selection of newspapers and magazines in ePaper format, on both iOS and Android systems.

Gold Key Media’s ABC accreditation gives publishers the ability to claim Active Page Views under the following category: Multiple Copy Business Sales (Digital Editions). The platform’s back office reports provide accurate auditable figures for circulation, giving publishers the confidence to add the figures into discussions with their advertising and sponsorship partners, says Gold Key Media.

Jan Pitt, Commercial Director at ABC, said: “I’m delighted that Gold Key Media are now an ABC Associate Member having chosen to have their processes and reports certified by us. In particular, their accreditation for the reporting of Paid Multiple (Digital Edition) Copies, an industry first, opens up access to valuable new audiences. The ABC ‘Stamp of Trust’ demonstrates Gold Key Media’s commitment to meeting rigorous, industry agreed standards on behalf of their clients.”

Duncan MacGillivray, Deputy Managing Director of Gold Key Media said: “We have spent 20 years developing superb placement and marketing programmes for newspapers and magazines, and we are renowned as the industry leading audience engagement agency. We can now extend our offer into digital distribution, and our publishing clients can have the confidence that this method of distributing their content is valid and robust, and meets the stringent criteria expected by the ABC.”
