Grand Designs Magazine celebrates 100th issue

Grand Designs Magazine, published by Media 10, is celebrating its 100th issue with a collectors’ special.

According to distributors COMAG: “Based on the hit Channel 4 programme, Grand Designs Magazine focuses on the ambitions of those ordinary people who are hoping to create extraordinary homes.

With entertaining and authentic inside stories from those who have gone through the life-changing process, every issue of Grand Designs Magazine features the challenges and obstacles people face in designing, creating and building their architectural dreams.

The official monthly publication to accompany the television series and developed with the show’s presenter, Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs Magazine is a useful and beautiful guide for people who are looking to make dream homes for the real world.

Whether the grand design is a whole house, a single room, a conservatory or the garden, Grand Designs Magazine has been providing advice to fit projects of all aspirations, sizes and budgets since it launched in February 2004.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary from this edition, the June issue of Grand Designs Magazine will be a collectors’ special. With a foil treatment on the front cover, a unique gatefold poster, along with an exclusive feature by Kevin McCloud and exclusive competitions, this issue will be a must-have for fans of the television programme.

In addition to this, the June edition will include a brand-new 32-page section called ‘The GDM Top 100’, featuring some of the best houses, iconic products, designers and architectural practices from the past 100 issues. Showcasing Grand Designs Magazine’ favourite 100 must-haves, ‘The GDM Top 100’ section will be designed with stand-out graphics to differentiate it from the rest of the magazine.

As well as all this, the June issue will have the usual must-read content, covering everything from striking contemporary homes to the latest in kitchen and bathroom design.

This issue coincides with the eighth annual Grand Designs Live show at ExCel London between 5 and 13 May, which attracts more than 100,000 visitors every year.”
