Hannah Kafanke named GQ ad manager

Hannah Kafanke has been promoted to Advertisement Manager of GQ, the men’s monthly, Condé Nast announced yesterday.

Jamie Bill, Publishing Director of GQ, remarks: “Hannah (pictured) has played a significant role in the continued commercial success of GQ, and this promotion recognises her contribution. As Britain’s leading quality men’s magazine, with multiple platforms and media rich advertising opportunities, GQ has greater quality routes to engage with the consumer, offering clients a unique level of audience engagement. The opportunities with GQ continue to evolve.”

Hannah began her career with Condé Nast in 2005, in the Classified Sales department, then moving to Condé Nast Traveller. Leaving the company in 2008 for commercial roles with Publicis Blueprint and Hachette, Hannah returned to Condé Nast in 2009, joining GQ as Sales Executive, quickly rising to Senior Account Manager, a position held until today. The new role of Advertisement Manager begins with immediate effect.

Hannah adds: “Working on the market leading title with a market leading team is a privilege, and I’m thrilled my input has been acknowledged in this way. This is a very exciting and challenging time for publishing and for luxury brands, and I’m looking forward to capitalising on future developments for GQ and for our clients.”

Earlier this year, says Condé Nast, GQ posted a circulation of 125,825 (July to December 2011), growing by 7.4% in total actively purchased copies period on period, and with an increase of 31% in UK print subscriptions year on year.
