Hearst appoints Head of Commercial Operations

Hearst Magazines UK, the publisher of Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Good Housekeeping and Harper’s Bazaar, has bolstered its commercial team with the appointment of Jane Wolfson as Head of Commercial Operations.

Jane will join on 17 June from media communications agency, Initiative, where she is part of the senior management team and currently Head of Commercial Strategy and Activation. Jane will report into Group Commercial Director, Ella Dolphin and will work with her to drive Hearst’s commercial strategy, leveraging the scale and influence of the business and its brands.

With over 20 years of media industry experience, Jane will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Hearst. Jane started her career at WCRS working across both television and print before joining Initiative. During her time at Initiative, she has held multiple senior positions including Joint Head of Investment where she was responsible for the integration of the print and digital display teams. Jane has worked with a broad range of clients such as LVMH, Unilever, General Motors, Tesco, France Telecom and Patek Philippe.
