Hearst UK has appointed Tom Banham as Digital Editor of Esquire.

Tom joins from digital style brand Thread where he has been Content Editor since June 2017. During his tenure, he oversaw all the brands’ editorial output and managed both editorial and e-commerce emails. Tom has extensive digital, media and luxury experience having previously written for titles including Mr Porter, Highsnobiety, Shortlist, FashionBeans, Wired and The Guardian.

Tom will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day running and future-facing strategy for the digital arm of the Esquire brand.

Tom says: “I am beyond excited to be joining the leading voice in men's luxury media. Esquire was the brand that first ignited my passion for journalism and today it is a true innovator in multi-channel content. I'm thrilled to be building on its already impressive digital growth alongside some of the brightest minds in media."
