Immediate’s Craft portfolio launches World Craft Week

Immediate Media Co is launching World Craft Week, celebrating the best in crafting in the UK and around the world, from Monday 3rd to Sunday 9th April.

The week will kick-off with the World Craft Week Challenge – a craft-based challenge which will unveiled on Facebook on Friday 31st March. Crafters will be in with the chance of winning a £50 Not On The High Street voucher for taking part.

According to Immediate Media, World Craft Week will be hosted on Facebook, featuring live tutorials, inspirational projects and ideas, special competitions and challenges, and exclusive discounts. The week-long event will showcase creative designers, innovative ideas, unsung heroes, talented makers and inspirational bloggers in a virtual craft space. Crafters can also download a free craft magazine packed full with 25 gorgeous craft makes.

Anna Davenport, Head of Partnerships, Immediate Media, says: “We’re thrilled to be launching this celebration of craft, which we’re hoping will become an annual event. We have an exciting schedule of activities planned on social media and will be kicking off the week by announcing the World Craft Week Challenge on Friday, 31st March. We’ve got crafters signing up every day to receive our free digi-mag and vouchers which can be downloaded at worldcraftweek.com. I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the teams who will be taking part, including our colleagues at Sewing Quarter and JewelleryMaker.”
