Laura Rowe named as new Olive Magazine Editor

Immediate Media, the special interest content and platform company, has appointed Laura Rowe as the new Editor of monthly food title olive magazine.

Laura will be leading the editorial teams across all media platforms - the monthly print title, the app and the recently launched website, olivemagazine.com - reporting into Dominic Murray, olive’s Publishing Director.

Laura has enjoyed a successful career as a home economist, food writer and multi-platform Editor. Most recently she’s been editing Crumbs magazine, which was named Food Magazine of The Year in 2013 by the Guild of Food Writers. Laura’s debut book Taste: The Infographic Book of Food launches later this year.

Laura says: "I feel exceptionally excited and privileged to be taking over the role as Editor of olive this autumn. Previous Editor Christine Hayes has done an incredible job for the past decade to create a magazine that is loved across the country and I can't wait to be part of the award-winning team that takes it to the next level."

Dominic Murray says: “I’m delighted to welcome Laura to Immediate Media as the new Editor of olive. Laura has established herself as a dynamic and talented Editor and has an impressive track record of delivering success in print, and digital channels. This is a very exciting time for olive with Laura leading a talented and high-performing team in the next stage of the brand’s development.”

Laura will take up her new post on Tuesday 1 September 2015.
